Anthro in the Farmer's Market and an Outfit! Pt. 1

Welcome!

It's no accident that I started this blog on a Saturday. That's the day of Charleston's weekly Farmers Market!

The fountain at Marion Square

From April to December, vendors show off their fresh fruits and veggies, arts and crafts, and other goodies for Charlestonians to purchase. Of course, I'm a frequent visitor. As soon as I walk into Marion Square I'm overloaded with senses. You can hear the band playing from all the way up at Calhoun and St. Phillips, and the first thing you see are the brightly colored blow up slides for kids. The smells of the flowers and spices are everywhere, and the music doesn't overshadow the roar of the crowd. Barking dogs, shrieking kids, and patrons of fresh produce all come out to enjoy one of my favorite Charleston traditions.

I admit, sometimes I'm jealous. I wish I had come to Charleston young enough to play on the slides!

The sign says "No Fat." Nooooooot sure I quite believe that ;)

Local band, not sure of the name. The guy on the left was looking at me until I got out of my camera, then he immediately looked away. Aw, camera shy!

You say "tomato," I say "tomatoh!" Even if you're not a tomato fan you have to admit these are pretty.

What did I wear and what did I buy? What's the name of this blog again? Of course there was Anthro involved, but I didn't want to overload on photos in the first post, so stay tuned for Pt. 2!
